This is going to be an overview of my hair colour history. Ever since I was about 8 I've been experimenting with putting crazy colours in my hair at that age it started out with just pink tips and streaks which would wash out after a few weeks, I then had to give up the pink when I started secondary school and went back to all over blonde again. One summer at age 14 I decided I missed the pink so went back to the dip-dye look but alas that didn't last long as when school commenced it had to be gone, with the ban on crazy coloured hair at school I had to keep my hair colour pretty tame with only the occasional hair chalking on weekends and school holidays to keep me going over the years. Finally when I was 18 and had just finished sixth form and I decided I wanted to do something I hadn't done before and dyed all my hair a crazy colour initially I attempted to go purple but it ended up coming out more of a pink but I fell in love with it none the less and continued pink all over for a quite a few months. But as anyone who has dyed their hair a crazy colour you often find yourself a bit bored after a while and I decided to go back to a more natural colour of a brown blonde ombre. And I loved it for a few months but again I caught the colour bug and was just itching to put some colour back into my hair this time ditching the pink purple tones I'd stuck to previously and decided to dye my bleached ends turquoise green and that's where I'm at right now. And although I love my mermaid hair I am in the process of fading it out right now which is turning out to be quite a process, but I want to go back to my natural colour just so I can have a few hair colour maintenance months. I do plan on writing a post on my favourite hair dyes and how I dye my hair as well as a post on how to fade and get rid of semi-permanent vibrant colours so look out for them coming soon.
